Digitalization of management processes for Wolkonsky Bakery that offers traditional French pastries

Cooperation with GMCS covers several IT projects.

GMCS has implemented one of the first projects in Russia for complex automation in the restaurant business using intelligent Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications:

• The ERP system automates the key business processes of the bakery chain: financial management, treasury, procurement, logistics, production and planning

• Integration of Microsoft Dynamics 365 with POS system, accounting system and Mercury Federal System

• Order processing automation, including the registration of operations in workshops using the Kitchen Display System (KDS)

Results:

• The business received a powerful digital platform

• Improved planning accuracy and reduced costs

• Implemented requirements for the sale of controlled goods

• Improved customer service

GMCS has created a digital data analytics solution based on the Qlik Sense BI platform: 

• Nine dashboards were developed, including a summary dashboard for the company's management board

• An interactive data analysis and visualization of financial and economic indicators (finance, production unit, purchases, sales) have been provided

• The project was implemented as a part of the company's digital transformation during a difficult year for the restaurant industry

Results:

• Transition to data-driven management

• Development of data culture in the company
