Development of BI solution for NIPIGAS, the leading Russian center for management, design, supply, logistics and construction (part of SIBUR Group)

GMCS has developed a BI system based on QlikView for technical documents tracking and management within the framework of Amur Gas Processing Plant construction project led by NIPIGAS. The use of the BI system allows monitoring work performance, quickly responding in case of document submission deadlines missed by contractors and online redraft.

Key figures:

• 100 indicators analyzed from several systems: electronic document management system, technical document management system, manual data sources;
• 9 interactive dashboards, including a consolidated KPI dashboard for the enterprise’s executive management;
• 6.5 months to implement the project.

Project outcomes:

• Reduction of paper reporting;
• Reduction in labor costs while reporting preparation;
• Quick response in case of document submission deadlines missed by contractors and online redraft.
