Development of a comprehensive office automation solution for OTIS, the world's leading manufacturer of elevators, escalators and moving walkways
GMCS developed an office automation solution that allowed OTIS to integrate corporate standards into the business management of its plant in St. Petersburg, Russia. The business model of OTIS plant in France was used as a prototype for the solution which was based on Infor ERP LN.
GMCS was a member of the international project team that helped adapt this model to the needs of the Russian market. Today, with this unified system, the St. Petersburg plant is able to optimize its operations including production management, purchasing, sales, warehouse management, and finance including GAAP accounting.
Results of the project:
- Improved efficiency of key business processes at the St. Petersburg plant
- Reduced costs associated with manual data entry
