The GMCS team won the hackathon "Digital Breakthrough"

The GMCS team named "Composite Key" won the nomination of the Tatarstan Ministry of Informatization and Communications in the finals of the All-Russian IT-contest "Digital Breakthrough". The two-day hackathon entered the Guinness book of records by the number of participants.

The team "Composite key", which included specialists of GMCS branch in Tula, won on the track of the Ministry of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan. The "Composite key" offered the best version of the platform for the translation of existing public services into electronic form by analysts without involving developers. The development grant in the amount of 500 thousand rubles the "Composite key" will share with the team from Tatarstan, which also reached the final in this category.

"The main value of the hackathon is that in 48 hours you completely change the way you look at things – what at first seemed impossible becomes real. It's an incredible feeling! Working practically without sleep and rest we made a prototype of the digital service for the registration of a hunting ticket. Currently, you need to send documents by courier, which is inconvenient for the user. In our solution, the user can issue the service after authorization with the help of ESIA, filling out the necessary forms and assuring the data correctness with a digital signature. If everything has been successfully completed, the user receives a notification that the ready hunting ticket can be picked up at the multiservice center. Using the business model of Alexander Osterwalder we have analyzed the rest of the public services and defined how they can be simplified and digitized" said Artem Koshko, Lead Developer of GMCS branch in Tula, the Captain of the "Composite Key" team.

The IT-competition "Digital breakthrough" is the flagship project of the presidential platform "Russia - the Land of Opportunities". More than 600 teams from 77 regions of the country worked on tasks in the following nominations: "Education and science", "Health Care", "Public Administration", "Public Utilities and Urban Environment", "Transport and Logistics" and special nominations from the partners of the competition.

This is not the first hackathon for GMCS. In the spring of 2019 the GMCS branch in Tula became a partner of the Tulahack hackathon. There are graduates of Tula State University among the members of the "Composite key" team. GMCS actively cooperates with both federal and regional higher education institutions. The company employs graduates and senior students of profile specialties, most of whom have previously passed an internship.
