GMCS team is going to the All-Russian Digital Breakthrough Hackathon Finals

GMCS will compete in the final of the All-Russian Digital Breakthrough Contest, one of the flagship projects of “Russia - the Land of Opportunities” Non-Profit Organization. The event will be held in Kazan from September, 27 to September, 29.

The events will gather over 3,000 specialists in programming, design and management held at Kazan Expo. The final will be the largest hackathon in Europe and, perhaps, it will get into the Guinness World Records Book. The participant will work on prototypes of digital products in the selected nominations: “Education and Science”, “Healthcare”, “Public Administration”, “Public Utilities and Urban Environment”, “Transport and Logistics”, “Industrial Solutions” for 48 hours.

The GMCS team called “Composite Key” successfully passed the preliminary online testing and the regional stage of the contest, which was held in Tula from 22 to June, 23.  Following a drawing of lots, our team got a task from the Healthcare topic. The team has developed a service prototype for setting antibiograms, a laboratory study that allows you to determine the sensitivity of bacteria to antibacterial drugs and assign the appropriate treatment to the patient. GMCS specialists demonstrated in-depth knowledge in the IT field and confirmed the availability of competencies necessary to create breakthrough technological solutions

“We already have the local hackathon experience, but Digital Breakthrough is a completely new step for us. The task of the regional stage was not easy, but the final promises to be even more interesting and unpredictable. We are getting ready and hope to win!,” said Artem Koshko, Lead Developer, Captain of the GMCS hackathon team.

The tasks to be solved by the final participants will be offered by such companies as Rosatom, MegaFon, Mail.ru Group, the Central Bank of Russia, MTS, Rostelecom, as well as federal ministries and national departments.
