GMCS projects are recognized as the best by the Global CIO

The Global CIO community of digital transformation leaders has announced the results of the annual competition for IT managers "Project of the Year - 2022". Two GMCS projects have won in several nominations.

In the nomination "The best IT project in the sports industry", the project "System of appointment of referees for matches", made by GMCS for the Russian Football Union, won. The system is implemented as a microservice web application and provides centralized storage of complete information about referees, including personal data, information about each match indicating scores, errors and the full chronology of the match, video comments with the participation of the referee, etc. At the same time, the system takes into account the scale of competitions throughout the country, time zones, distances between cities and the required travel time between them. The project was implemented using the GMCS "Digital Assistant" service, which allows you to launch IT projects faster, including in conditions of lack of the customer's own resources.

The GMCS project "Unified Information System for Employee Development" for the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation won in the nomination "The best IT project in the field of personnel management". As part of the HR transformation, an information system covering five key personnel management processes has been developed and implemented on the basis of the Russian WebSoft HCM platform. More than 1,000 jobs have been automated, and the share of employees covered by training has increased from 10-15% to 60-70%. The increased safety requirements characteristic of public administration bodies are taken into account.

The 11th award ceremony was held on January 26 in Moscow. Throughout its existence, the competition has become a communication platform for managers who implement advanced IT solutions in Russia and abroad.

"The past year has been unusual for the entire IT industry, which had to radically restructure its work. But despite this, we received projects of a very high level and scale for the competition, implemented in a short time. This is a great example of how strong teams work in the IT market and how quickly they can transform their work," Ekaterina Lyasko, CEO of Global CIO, emphasized at the award ceremony.
