GMCS is recognized as one of the largest IT suppliers for retail

Research group CNews Analytics has published an “IT in Retail 2021” review. GMCS has once again become one of the largest providers of IT solutions in retail, taking the 22nd line in the rating.

GMCS's revenue from IT projects in retail amounted to 815.2 million rubles at the end of 2020, which is 9% higher than in 2019. The company has carried out projects for large retail chains, regional retailers, as well as manufacturers with their retail.

“The revenue growth is associated with new large projects and the development projects of current clients. The demand for analytics, optimization solutions and forecasting, development, and integration solutions has grown. RPA projects have entered a mature stage. A center of RPA expertise is becoming profit centers. We thank our customers for their trust and we will continue to help with the digitalization of processes considering the challenges of 2021,” commented Sergey Osipov, Vice President of GMCS.

According to Cnews’ estimates, in 2020 the total revenue of the 20 largest IT suppliers in retail grew by 42% and approached 100 billion rubles. The list of the most demanded solutions includes clouds, remote access, development of digital sales and logistics channels, information security. 

According to analysts, the 2021 year promises to be more successful for retail. Demand for cloud, custom development of business solutions, multimedia technologies, and mobile applications will grow.
