GMCS in the TOP 30 largest IT suppliers in retail

The CNews analytical center released a rating of the largest IT suppliers in retail. GMCS took the 21st place and showed revenue growth.

By the end of 2021, GMCS revenue from the implementation of projects in retail amounted to 970,971 thousand rubles, which is 19.1% more than in 2020. GMCS customers in retail include such companies as Lamoda, X5 Group, Leroy Merlin Russia, Ascona, Hoff and others. 

According to CNews, the IT market in retail has grown by 37.4%. In 2021, retailers paid close attention to digitalization, introducing big data, artificial intelligence, RPA and digital twins. According to forecasts, this year IT in retail will develop mainly in the direction of import substitution and strengthening of information security. New large-scale projects are expected in 2023-2024.

In recent months, almost everything has changed in retail, including supply chains and relationships with consumers and suppliers. Retailers addressing to us now want to ensure the stable operation of critical business applications, both back-office management systems and cash terminal management systems. With a number of customers, we discuss options and scenarios for the transition to Russian software, as well as the implementation of low-code solutions. The demand for domestic solutions in the field of business analytics has also increased," notes Sergey Osipov, Vice President of GMCS.
