GMCS completed replication of enterprise management system based on Microsoft for Hoff

Hoff, one of the largest and fast-growing companies among Russian furniture chains, spent less than a year with GMCS to complete replication of retail management system based on Microsoft across all stores. 

To date, 38 retail stores work with a centralized system. It is 29 hypermarkets, 2 MINI stores and 9 HOME stores.

The back office system of Hoff based on Microsoft products provides effective management of purchases, assortment, pricing, external and internal logistics, sales, reclamation work and after-sales service. Over 2,000 users work with the system. GMCS has carried out migration of the back office system to Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3 alongside with the development and launch of a cash solution, which today supports the operation of 300 points of sale in Hoff stores throughout Russia.

“Replication was carried out in accordance with the methodology developed by our team. It implies a one-time transition of the back office processes in the regional stores to the updated system: in the evening, the store was closed at the usual time in the “old” system and in the morning, it started working in the new system. Thanks to this, we met the deadlines set by the business, including the terms of opening new stores,” said Konstantin Peshekhonov, CIO, Hoff.

GMCS continues to help Hoff develop the system to meet the changing business needs. This cooperation includes the development of the cash solution, for example, in terms of the implementation of new requirements of Russian legislation.
