GMCS became a member of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce

GMCS became a member of FRCC, the leading organization specializing in bilateral trade between Finland and Russia. The cooperation goal is the promotion of dialogue with Finnish business, including the digitalization area.

Now FRCC is a business platform for about 650 companies from Finland and Russia. The chamber facilitates the interaction of member companies while connecting Finnish know-how with the opportunities of the Russian market. In addition, FRCC is a part of the Team Finland network, whose mission is to further the work of Finnish companies around the world.

"GMCS has historically worked closely with Finnish companies. Cooperation with FRCC will allow us to expand the dialogue with Finnish business, as well to strengthen existing contacts and establish new business ties," said Iya Kuznetsova, Head of the North-West Branch of GMCS.

GMCS will take part in industry and professional events held by FRCC, where topical issues of business management and administration in Russia are discussed. At the end of November 2019, GMCS will go to the annual meeting of FRCC members. It will be held in Helsinki.

"We always welcome new members of the FRCC community. Digitization is pervading all areas of business. We can see a growing interest in the exchange of experience in this area among our members. We hope for productive cooperation with GMCS", said Jukka Huukhtanen, Director of FRCC in Russia.

According to the "Leaders of Finnish business – 2019" rating, the revenue of the TOP 30 Finnish companies in Russia in 2018 amounted to 288.6 billion rubles. This is 4.5% more than a year earlier. The research was conducted by the Internet newspaper "Fontanka".
