GMCS at the Programmer's Day in KFU

GMCS branch in Kazan took part in the conference dedicated to the Programmer's Day, which was held on October 11 at the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Information Technology of Kazan Federal University (KFU). GMCS told students about the company, project experience, applied technologies as well as career opportunities.

Programmer's day falls on 256th day of the year. According to KFU, the holiday was decided to be rescheduled to October because of the shifted start of studies.

Organized as a conference, the event was opened by the Director of the Institute Sergey G. Mosin. The event was attended by students of bachelor and master programs of the Institute. The invited companies spoke about the current state of the IT industry. They discussed such topics as audit, hard skills and soft skills for programmers, the use of machine learning in acoustic signal recognition in Geophysics, data analysis and project management.

GMCS told students about the company, project experience and applied technologies as well as career opportunities. Another GMCS presentation was devoted to the role of IT solutions in assessing the financial performance of enterprises.

"We were happy to accept the invitation from the Institute of Computational Mathematics and Information Technology of Kazan Federal University to take part in the Programmer's Day conference. Such live sessions allow students to better understand and plan their career in the programming and information technology," said Anton Bulychev, Head of GMCS Branch in Kazan.
