GMCS and PSU elevate strategic partnership to new heights

GMCS (a member of the MT-Integration Group) announces the launch of an enhanced cooperation program with Penza State University (PSU) designed to strengthen the practical training of future IT professionals.

The newly signed agreement establishes deeper collaboration focused on hands-on professional development.

PSU Rector Alexander Gulyakov noted: "GMCS has proven to be a valued strategic partner with exceptional understanding of today's labor market needs. Many years of fruitful cooperation has demonstrated a deep understanding of the needs of the modern labor market and the ability to create conditions for the successful integration of young specialists into the industry. This university-business collaboration is cultivating skilled professionals who will drive Russia's digital economy forward."

This builds upon seven years of successful partnership during which dozens of PSU students and graduates have launched their careers at GMCS - many progressing from internships to project management roles.

Veronika Trotsenko, HR Manager at GMCS, explained the program's evolution: " Our company traditionally highly values the training of specialists from Penza State University. Previously, our cooperation consisted mainly of participating in job fairs and holding one-time lectures. Today, we set much more ambitious goals: we will regularly organize internships and specialized events that allow students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. A key differentiator is early integration of top students into our teams, enabling professional development during their academic journey."

Andrey Kuzmin, Head of PSU's Department of Information and Computing Systems, said that completing an internship or traineeship at GMCS for PSU students is very prestigious and promising. “Now students in specialized training areas, such as Applied Informatics, will have even more opportunities to gain practical work experience at one of the leading companies in the IT sector,” he added.
