GMCS and MEPhI to continue joint training of IT Specialists in analytics

GMCS (part of MT‑Integration Group) and the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (NRNU MEPhI) have signed a cooperation agreement in the field of education. The document provides for the continuation of joint efforts to train students in information and analytical systems and applied data analytics.

Under the new agreement, during the coming academic year, GMCS experts will deliver practical classes in IT disciplines for students and will also take part in the development and updating of syllabi for specialized educational courses. Special attention will be paid to studying modern approaches to business analytics based on the Russian platform "Foresight".

"We are pleased to continue our cooperation with MEPhI in teaching students practical work with analytical tools. Under the signed assistance agreement, we will develop a course syllabus and teach approaches to applied analytics based on the Foresight platform. Today, this is one of Russia's leading products in analytics and Corporate Performance Management solutions. As a key partner of the vendor, we implement large-scale projects on this platform for the country's largest companies in the oil and gas, retail, industrial and other sectors. I am confident that our practical experience will become a solid foundation for students' future careers," commented Roman Tsikolenko, Business Development Director at GMCS.

MEPhI also highly appreciates the prospects for further cooperation. "For our university, it is extremely important that educational programmes are as closely linked as possible to the activities of the partners where students will go to work after graduation, and also meet the needs of the IT market as a whole. Cooperation with GMCS allows us to integrate real‑world practical cases and modern IT tools into the learning process. We see that our students are very interested in mastering applied analytics, and we are confident that continuing this partnership will give them a competitive edge in the labour market," noted Anna N. Norkina, Associate Professor at the Department of Financial Monitoring No. 75, Institute of Financial Technologies and Economic Security, NRNU MEPhI.
