CNews included GMCS in the TOP 30 largest IT suppliers for the industry

CNews Analytics published a rating of "The largest IT suppliers for industrial enterprises 2020". GMCS rose to the 30th place, demonstrating revenue growth in this area by 15.9%, which by the end of 2020 amounted to 733 787 thousand rubles.

According to CNews, by the end of 2020, the total revenue of the TOP 50 participants has hardly changed, the level of digitalization in this area remains low. However, the pandemic made companies seriously think about the transition from automation to digitalization. The list of the most popular solutions includes ERP, PLM, MES, sensor installation, data collection and processing with the formation of solutions for predicting equipment repairs, product quality. There is a growing demand for artificial intelligence, virtual tests, automated development of algorithms for CNC machines, simulation modeling.

"We have increased revenue in the industrial sector due to the implementation of new projects in promising areas, as well as the expansion of partnership with Russian software developers - Factory5 and GreenData. The pandemic has delayed some major implementations, but has enabled many companies to take inventory and optimize processes and data. To date, we are participating in several industrial cooperation projects, helping to implement digital initiatives, including within the framework of the ESG agenda," comments Stanislav Otinov, Director of the GMCS Production Systems Department.

In the next 5 years, the global Industry 4.0 market will grow by 20% per year due to the introduction of artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things, the growing demand for industrial robots, 3D printing and government incentives for additive manufacturing. By 2030, the demand for digital solutions in the manufacturing industries may increase by 14 times.
