CNews recognized GMCS as one of the leading suppliers of mobile solutions for business and government agencies

CNews Analytics has published an annual ranking of the Russian leading suppliers of mobile solutions for business and government agencies. GMCS has traditionally entered this rating demonstrating the revenue growth by 35.62% on the results of 2018.

In 2018, GMCS mobile app development revenue amounted to 118,139 thousand rubles. GMCS provides services in corporate mobile development both based on leading OS (Android, Windows) and using the VerEx Platform components. Major functional areas include mobile workplaces, business analytics, and customized development.

“The revenue growth is attributable to the development of the VerEx Platform: over the past year, the platform was replenished with new solutions, for instance, an application for construction and installation work monitoring. We have started projects in the oil and gas sector, energy sector, and retail, as well as enhanced our cooperation with current customers in the field of enterprise mobility,” said Maria Venediktova, Vice President, GMCS. 

As analytics point out, the mobile app development market shows steady growth. According to the Statista forecast, in 2020 the gross annual income is expected to exceed $189 billion. Cross-platform development, artificial intelligence, machine learning, augmented reality and chatbots are already incorporated into mobile development. Internet of things, cloud integration, payment services, and their security are supposed to be the most commonly anticipated trends in the area.
