The role of industrial safety in sustainable business development was discussed at the SPIBA seminar

On March 26, a seminar of the St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) was held on the topic “How does industrial safety affect the long-term and sustainable development of any enterprise? Best practices of companies in Moscow and St. Petersburg." The event was moderated by Iya Kuznetsova, head of the North-Western branch of GMCS (a member of the Maxima Group of Companies), co-chair of the SPIBA Committee on Innovation and Intelligent Systems.

The event brought together more than 30 representatives of leading companies in the region. Companies such as Avtozavod St. Petersburg, Lindaily, and Ahlers Rus shared their experience in the field of industrial safety.

President of Maxima Group of Companies Boris Volpe acted as a guest expert at the seminar. During the report, Boris Volpe explained why industrial safety with artificial intelligence is an integral part of a developing enterprise. He also presented the solutions proposed by the group of companies in this area and shared his experience in their implementation. Active discussion on this topic continued within the framework of networking.

“The event was organized on our initiative with colleagues from the Maxima Group of Companies. Several SPIBA member companies supported this idea and expressed a desire to share their experience and views on ensuring industrial safety. We see how the close connection between industrial safety and digital solutions forms competent management of fixed assets, contributes to increased efficiency of measures to ensure the stability of technological processes and equipment operation, timely identification of risks and their elimination. The use of technologies allows us to collect and analyze more data, identify negative trends and make forecasts. All this allows us to create and maintain more comfortable working conditions and minimize possible negative impacts of production on the environment,” comments Iya Kuznetsova, Head of the North-Western Branch of GMCS.
