How digital services help to effectively search for personnel

On April 22, the Human Resources Committee of the St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) held a meeting on alternative ways to attract staff. Iya Kuznetsova, Vice President of GMCS, presented the company's experience in using digital services based on Russian software to improve the efficiency of internal employee recruitment.

The growing shortage of staff forces businesses to look for new methods of attracting personnel. Participants of the event shared their experience in recruiting temporary employees, working with freelancers and the self-employed, former employees (alumni), and using specialized employee search platforms.

In her speech, Iya Kuznetsova emphasized the importance of internal sources of staff and told about the use of digital employee profiles for effective internal recruitment: "We discussed many ways to find and attract specialists, but perhaps the most valuable reserve is the internal employee base. Using digital profiles to find talent within the company is a simple and effective solution that allows one to close vacancies without having to search for a long time in the outer market."

In addition, Iya Kuznetsova talked about other digital HR services based on the Websoft HCM platform offered by GMCS: smart search for specialists, GPT service for team representation based on the Russian GIGAChat and YandexGPT neural networks.

"The use of these tools has allowed our company to reduce the cost of attracting external specialists by 30%, optimize internal resource utilization by 18% and reduce the time required to prepare CVs for tenders by 5 times," Iya added.

GMCS' experience shows that the digital transformation of HR processes can significantly improve the efficiency of personnel search and selection, reducing dependence on the traditional labor market.
