GMCS took silver at GreenData’s “HackPicnic”

On September 17, the GMCS team “Code Green” (part of the MT-Integration Group) reached the final of the GreenData “HackPicnic” project competition and took 2nd place.

The competition on the GreenData low-code platform was held in two stages: during the pre-defense, 5 strongest teams were selected out of 8, and they then presented their developments to an expert jury. In a tight timeframe, GMCS built an “Online Flower Shop Management System.”

What’s inside the solution:

• calculation of reserves and availability of bouquets, including automatic release of the reserve by timeout;
• smart purchasing based on consumption forecasting and printed forms for suppliers;
• sales analytics.

The final brought together more than 80 guests. After the offline defenses, the jury needed time to determine the winners.

“Participation in ‘HackPicnic’ gave us the opportunity not only to test our strengths in low-code development, but also to exchange experience with colleagues and get acquainted with new approaches to solving tasks. We gained valuable experience — from working on the platform to defending the project before experts. We are glad that we were able to confirm our qualifications at such a high level and assess the capabilities of other teams. We thank the organizers for the high level of the event and the opportunity for professional growth,” noted the members of the GMCS team.
