GMCS took part in the SPIBA Look@Sveza event

At the end of October, the St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) together with the Sveza Group held a business tour in the Look@It format. Iya Kuznetsova, head of the North-West branch of GMCS and chair of the SPIBA committee on innovations and intelligent technologies, moderated the round table on the topic of "Innovations and import substitution".

The Look@It tour series is dedicated to the success stories of brands in the St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region markets.

The Sveza Group is a modern, dynamically developing company that has quickly become one of the leading manufacturers in the woodworking market.

The round table became a discussion platform for discussing innovations and solutions in the field of import substitution, which are used by Sveza. The participants of the round table openly shared their plans and problems in this area. Among the participants were Denis Alekseev, director of the Sveza plant, Tatyana Gorovaya, director of interaction with government agencies of Avtozavod Saint Petersburg (ex. Nissan), Pavel Cherepanov, head of the technical and technological support service of ITMS Russia.

In addition, the event participants visited the production site and saw the plywood production process. They were greatly impressed by the company's R&D center, which features the latest technological laboratory equipment for testing samples of finished products.

"Such meetings inspire me a lot, because they allow me to learn about the import substitution situation first-hand. Of course, there are many difficulties, but there are also positive examples. For example, as discussed at the round table, the production of components for the technological process is actively developing in Russia - analogues have already been created that surpass imported ones in some characteristics”, noted Iya Kuznetsova. “I would also like to note that Sveza is our client. It was very interesting to get to know the company's representatives better, to learn what measures the enterprise is taking in the field of import substitution."
