GMCS supported the charity run "The Right Time to Live"
The GMCS team (part of the MT-Integration Group) took part in the fifth charity run "The Right Time to Live," organized by the Leukemia Foundation (FBL). The grand sporting event took place on June 27 in Moscow's Victory Park on Poklonnaya Hill and brought together nearly 3,000 participants, fans, and guests.
For the third year in a row, GMCS has participated in the FBL runs. This time, 12 employees and three young runners took to the start line, covering distances from 500 meters to 5 kilometers.
The anniversary run "The Right Time to Live" was timed to coincide with the foundation's 12th anniversary. In total, over 22 million rubles were raised, which will go toward urgent treatment and assistance for the foundation's beneficiaries. In addition, 68 people donated blood for typing at mobile stations, adding to the Federal Register of Bone Marrow Donors.
"The fifth, anniversary charity run of the Leukemia Foundation has become truly special for us. Five years ago, we dreamed of bringing people together around one important goal – to help. Today, that dream has not only come true – it drives us to grow bigger and make the festival of sports, music, and charity even more impressive. Thousands of people once again took to the start to take another step together for the sake of help, for the sake of love, for the sake of life. I am immensely proud that over these five years, a true community of big-hearted people has grown around the foundation. And I am happy that together we continue to draw attention to the cause of helping adults, dispel myths about blood cancer, expand the bone marrow donor registry, and change lives for the better!" – said Anush Ovsepyan, CEO of the Leukemia Foundation.
"We congratulate the Leukemia Foundation on its 12th anniversary – this anniversary run will be especially memorable for us. When hundreds of people run alongside you, united by a common purpose, it is incredibly inspiring. It is also great to see that our colleagues have come with their children again, making the run truly family-friendly. And, of course, thanks to those who cheered and supported us from the stands," commented Maxim Ezersky, Vice President of GMCS and a run participant.
