GMCS presented an AI expert based on Websoft HCM: how smart knowledge bases are changing HR processes

On October 15, at the invitation of Websoft, GMCS held a webinar on the topic “AI Expert — Smart Knowledge Bases Based on Websoft HCM.” The focus of the meeting was the transition of AI in HR from a passive tool to a proactive employee partner.

Today, corporate knowledge bases are ceasing to be merely a repository of instructions. The AI assistant based on Websoft HCM solves the following main tasks:

  • Anticipating needs. A shift from simple Q&A to contextual interaction in an employee’s daily tasks.
  • Adaptive learning. AI acts as a personal L&D manager, selecting content for a specific employee.
  • Seamless integration. Corporate-level security and instant knowledge updates without manual database updating.
  • Community and support. A platform for exchanging best practices and receiving feedback from experts.

Maria Gosteva, methodologist and project manager of the Digital HR Solutions Department at GMCS, demonstrated practical scenarios of how an employee can use the AI expert, using a workday as an example:

  • Morning. The assistant analyzes the Outlook calendar and looks for a free window for learning, offering a time that takes current activities into account (personal planning).
  • Day. The system identifies competency gaps based on a 360° assessment and recommends learning activities for specific development areas (smart recommendations).
  • Evening. AI reminds about tasks, answers questions on the knowledge base, analyzes new knowledge, and summarizes the day (live knowledge).

“AI in HR is ceasing to be an experiment and is becoming a working tool that integrates into an employee’s daily tasks. Our assistant based on Websoft HCM is not just a chatbot with a knowledge base. It is a system that analyzes 360° assessments, identifies competency gaps, and suggests concrete steps for development. All the technical routine — mapping materials, updating knowledge, and issuing recommendations — is taken over by AI,” noted Maria.
