GMCS discussed manpower training for digital economy

GMCS participated in the round table on a theme “Manpower Training for Digital Economy” held on August 1 in Penza. The Government of the Penza region with the support of Penza State University organized the roundtable.  

Ivan Belozertsev, the Governor of the Penza region, chaired the meeting. Representatives of the regional executive authorities, IT industry and educational community discussed cooperation in the training of personnel for the digital economy, as well as the development of IT industry in the region.

Head of Penza branch, GMCS, Alexey Kosov, spoke about the experience of training and working with young IT specialists. For more than three years, GMCS has been cooperating with the Penza State University: conducting introduction training, assisting in internship and preparation of final qualification works. During the cooperation with the university, GMCS have employed several dozens of young IT specialists. Also, GMCS intends to establish collaboration with other universities in the region.

"The meeting was intensive and constructive. As one of the region’s largest IT employers, we strive to conduct an active dialogue with educational institutions and consider it necessary to involve the business in the process of preparing future specialists for the demands of the digital economy," notes Alexey Kosov, Head of Penza branch, GMCS.
