GMCS congratulates SPIBA on its 30th anniversary
On October 8th, a gala evening dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) was held at the Architect's House. The event was attended by Iya Kuznetsova, Vice President of GMCS.
The guests of the evening — representatives from regional governmental, business, and cultural circles — witnessed the symbolic reinterpretation of the association's abbreviation. At the initiative of Sergey Morozov, SPIBA’s Russian abbreviation now also stands for "Creating Prospects for Individuals with Great Ambitions." This new interpretation, met with applause, highlights SPIBA’s key value: a human-centric approachity.
The anniversary congratulations were addressed to Stefan Van Doorslayer, Chairman of the Executive Committee of SPIBA, and Karina Khabacheva, CEO of the Association. Among the guests were representatives of the Agency for Economic Development of the Leningrad Region, GSOM SPbU, Melling, Voitishkin and Partners, IBC Real Estate and other leading organizations.
"On behalf of GMCS, I congratulate the St. Petersburg International Business Association on its 30th anniversary! For us, partnership with SPIBA is not just membership, but an opportunity to jointly shape the digital future of business in the region. As co-chairman of the SPIBA Committee on Innovation and Intelligent Systems, I strive to support the exchange of experience not only between community members but also with other companies. The speed dating format has become the discovery of this season, which once again underlines people's interest in live acquaintances and social capital development. I am sure that an interesting agenda and useful events on the topic of IT application practices lie ahead," said Iya Kuznetsova.
