GMCS became the Gold Partner of Foresight TechEd 2025

On April 15, the Foresight TechEd conference was held in Moscow. The event was organized by the leading Russian vendor Foresight. The Gold Partner of the event was GMCS, a member of the MT-Integration Group.

The TechEd conference has become a unique platform for knowledge exchange between Foresight specialists, integrators and customers, as well as technical training. The event was aimed at expanding the professional community and improving the skills of Foresight's partners and clients for the successful integration of complex technological projects.

Alexander Galkin, Vice President of GMCS, participated in a round table discussion on the topic "Priority Development Plans for 2025 and release strategy". During the discussion, representatives of Foresight, key partners and customers discussed the strategic directions and main priorities for the development of Foresight products.

Special attention of the audience was attracted by the speech of Bela Temirkanova, Business Director of GMCS, and Olga Gorina, Chief Expert of the Department of Economic Planning and Investment Activities of PJSC RusHydro. The speakers discussed the issues of regulating planning and budgeting systems, and also demonstrated the capabilities of the GMCS solution based on Foresight products and an example of its integration in PJSC RusHydro.

Andrey Vedeshin, Head of Department at GMCS, shared his expert opinion at the panel discussion "Four foundations of the architecture of Foresight analytical solutions". Lyubov Vedeshina, Project Manager of GMCS, took part in the panel discussion "Foresight. Budgeting and Consolidation is a single solution for two tasks", where experts shared their project experience.

Sergey Blokhin, architect of GMCS, presented calculation methods in complex economic models using the example of a large energy company, revealing the possibilities of Foresight products. During the presentation, a data flow diagram was demonstrated, the structure of calculation blocks and the principle of constructing algorithms for "change" and "save" situations were described.

At the exhibition area, GMCS presented the company's expertise and project experience in the field of budgeting and business intelligence. Roman Tsikolenko, Business Development Director of GMCS, presented the GAFO Platform, a high-performance analytics platform created by a consortium of Russian IT companies that includes GMCS, Arenadata, Foresight and Oxygen.

Among other things, there was an interactive insight lab at the GMCS booth, where visitors shared their wishes for the development of Foresight products and voiced the reasons for choosing Russian budgeting systems. As it turned out, the issues of improving platform performance, expanding the capabilities of development environments, and additional functionality from the vendor attracted the most attention. Among the main factors in choosing Russian budgeting solutions, the need to replace Western systems and the need to automate business processes instead of Excel spreadsheets were most often cited.
