GMCS at the ARMFK Grand Prix Final in Figure Skating

On June 8, Moscow hosted the finals of the Russia and CIS Grand Prix for adult amateur figure skaters, with GMCS participating as an event partner through its corporate charity program.

A total of 141 athletes competed in the championship. Qualification for the finals required skaters to achieve the highest average scores in their age categories across 16 preliminary stages organized by the Association for the Development of Mass Figure Skating (ARMFK).

The 2023/2024 season marked the debut Grand Prix series exclusively for adult amateur skaters. The tournament spanned 13 cities across Russia and CIS countries, featuring 16 competitive stages that showcased various amateur skating disciplines including singles free and artistic programs, solo and pair dances, and sports pairs performances.

The championship culminated at Moscow's Chkalov Arena with the introduction of an innovative Master Mix discipline, pairing amateur competitors with professional skaters in a competitive format.
