GMCS experts took part in SPIBA round tables that took place on February 27 as part of the St. Petersburg International Labor Forum. The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Russian Federation supported the event.

More than 6,000 participants visited the forum to discuss current organizational and legislative issues in the field of labor and the development of human capital.

The St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) organized two round tables on the following topics: “Professional burnout - world and Russian experience of prevention” and “Challenges of organizational transformation in the implementation of lean production”.

The first round table discussed the key aspects of the successful implementation of lean manufacturing and business transformation, both in terms of organizational processes and production culture. Participants agreed that HR played a key role in employee engagement and change management.

The second round table was devoted to the topic of professional burnout, from which, as it turned out, there is no immunity. Well-being programs, developed corporate culture and preventive measures could help protect employees from burnout.

“Today, HR stays at the center of business transformation, which requires digital support and related tools. Topics discussed at the round tables, as well as at the forum itself, only confirm this fact. Collaborating with leading enterprises, we see how the processes and approaches to personnel management are changing. HR becomes digital; demand for flexible solutions and services is growing. For example, there is a growing demand for remote employee training, corporate portals and applications for fast employee-HR communication within the framework of solving operational issues and personnel workflows,” said Evgeny Gladyshev, Project Manager, GMCS.
