GMCS, as part of the Maxima Group of Companies, took part in the Career Day of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

On March 14, GMCS, as part of the Maxima Group of Companies, took part in the Career Day of the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov.

Students had the opportunity not only to learn more about companies, but also to undergo interviews during the event. GMCS specialists also talked with students: they talked about the company as a whole, prospects for young professionals and open vacancies.

“Due to the active development of Russian products in the company’s portfolio, we plan to attract more young IT specialists to provide them with a decent career start. Our practices of working with students have shown their effectiveness. Many our heads of departments have just “grew up” from young specialists who started out as simple consultants and juniors,” noted Alexander Galkin, Vice President of GMCS.

The Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov is a partner of the Maxima Group of Companies. In addition to participating in career days, cooperation with the University includes internships, business-oriented training courses, and presentations of cases in lecture halls. Such interaction helps universities prepare future industry leaders with a real understanding of the practical side, and helps students themselves decide on a direction and gain first experience in a large company.
