GMCS took 11th place in the rating of the largest BI solutions providers in Russia

GMCS has once again become one of the largest providers of BI solutions in Russia, taking the 11th line of the rating prepared by TAdviser as part of the review "BI systems in Russia 2021".

Twenty companies in the ranking showed positive dynamics of revenue. Including GMCS, the company's revenue from BI solutions at the end of 2020 amounted to 543 million rubles, which is 56% more than in the previous year. GMCS is a multi-product provider of BI solutions and implements projects using analytical applications Qlik, IBM Analytics, Foresight, SAP BW / 4HANA, Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.

Analysts note that the pandemic has slowed down the growth rate of the Russian BI systems market. However, in qualitative terms, the business intelligence segment has gained much more than it has lost since it has piqued the interest of customers in predicting the development of the situation based on data from various sources.

“Based on our practice over the past year, among the most urgent tasks in BI, based on our practice, the tasks of preparing analytical reports for decision-making, reconciliation of data between systems, monitoring key indicators and monitoring their implementation are still included. There is also a demand for predictive analytics, which takes place in large companies with mature and well-established processes. The practice of self-service BI is developing and actively used. Users prefer to build dashboards on their own and use data in their work. Data-driven is already a familiar reality for many companies”, commented Alexey Suchkov, Director of BI Solutions Department at GMCS.
