GMCS entered the Top 10 largest ERP suppliers in Russia

GMCS took the 8th line in the rating "The largest suppliers of ERP systems in Russia", prepared by the analytical center TAdviser. The ranking summarizes the state of the ERP market, examines the drivers and barriers affecting its development.

In 2019, GMCS revenue in this area amounted to 669 million rubles. Most ERP projects were implemented on the basis of Microsoft and SAP solutions, recognized as the leaders among ERP vendors in the Russian market according to TAdviser. Among the key customers of GMCS are Abi, Lamoda, Hoff, Unipro, X5 Retail Group, Roca Group, Chanel and others.

The rating included 16 companies. The total revenue of the largest players amounted to RUB 16.5 billion. TAdviser’s analysts noted that the sharp change in the economic situation associated with the Covid-19 pandemic forced many companies to rethink their plans for the development of the IT direction and the value of ERP systems.

“In the first half of 2020, because of the restrictive measures and the suspension of the activities of many businesses, a number of ERP projects were suspended or postponed. In the following months, the situation leveled off: businesses gradually adapted to the changed conditions and were able to resume work on the implementation or modernization of their ERP systems. By reducing the number of active IT projects or the suspension of large digital initiatives, some companies have shifted their focus specifically to ERP, because it is a necessary digital foundation for corporate governance, especially in an unstable environment,” said Sergey Osipov, Vice President of GMCS.

Among the drivers of Russian ERP market development, TAdviser noted the import substitution. Last year, GMCS included the Russian ERP solution TURBO in the software portfolio.
