What will personal data be in 2020?

On February 28, the meeting of the SVKK Club on the topic of personal data was held in the Embassy of Finland in Moscow. GMCS participated in the event as a member of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce (Suomalais-Venäläinen kauppakamari, SVKK).

Jukka Huuhtanen, Director of the Finnish-Russian Chamber of Commerce for Russia, opened the meeting. The topic of personal data was discussed in terms of business administration and compliance with legal requirements. The discussion covered such questions as types and methods of data storage, especially cross-border data transfer between the EU and Russia. Invited experts shared their expertise and answered questions from participants. 

“We work with both Russian and foreign companies, so the topic of personal data is relevant for us. Thanks to SVKK and the invited experts for such an informative and useful meeting,” commented Galina Khruslova, Head of HR Solutions Department, GMCS.
