GMCS participated in a meeting with Kris Peeters, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium that was held on June 5 in Saint Petersburg. The meeting was organized by St. Petersburg International Business Association (SPIBA) and Consulate General of Belgium.

The event was organized in the run-up to the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF 2019).

The business meeting was held in the "open discussion" format. Chris Peters spoke about opportunities for the development of economic cooperation between Russia and Europe. As the Minister of Employment, Economy and Consumer Affairs, Mr. Peters believes that education is the key to successful cooperation in the modern world. He called it "the diamond in our hands."

GMCS is a member of SPIBA and the company is actively involved in the business life of the community.

“Mr. Peters is not only an amazing professional but also an incredibly open person who has done a lot for the development of Russian-Belgian relations. Despite the tight schedule, I had the opportunity to personally meet and tell Mr. Peters about our company. For more than ten years, GMCS has been cooperating with the Belgian company Ferranti, developer of MECOMS solution for smart energy and reasonable consumption. We discussed with Mr. Peters the possibilities for further expanding cooperation both on the Russian and international markets in this promising area,” said Iya Kuznetsova, Head of the North-West branch, GMCS.
