In March 2006 GMCS completed the localization of the Infor ERPLN (Baan 6.1) system Russia, CIS and Baltic states.
In accordance with the partnership agreement between Infor and GMCS localization of the Infor ERP LN system included translation of the system into Russian and reworking the software to comply with Russian legislative requirements. As part of the works on Infor ERP LN localization, translation was carried out of the system’s interface and reference information on the main subsystems of Infor ERP LN. In order to take the particularities of Russian accounting and fiscal legislation into consideration software reworking of the Infor ERP LN system was conducted in the following main directions:
— fixed assets and intangible assets accounting;
— implementing the principles of accounts correlation in the system’s financial modules;
— printing approved forms of primary reporting on operations of goods and materials flows, cash flow and settlements;
— VAT accounting, forming Russian purchase ledgers;
— creating Russian forms of financial statements and fiscal reports using Infor ERP LN and MS Excel integration.
Infor ERPLN offers new possibilities in terms of managing mixed types of discrete production and improves the performance of users within the system. When developing Infor ERP LN a great deal of attention was paid towards the simplicity of the system’s use by end users in order to make day-to day work as simple and efficient as possible.
