Client description: OTIS is one of the largest companies for the production and maintenance of elevators, escalators and travelators in the world. In Russia OTIS accounts for around 25% of sales of new lifting and transporting equipment, around 15% of the country’s elevators are maintained by the company. OTIS has three production sites in the Russian Federation.

Project Description
GMCS carries out works on establishing a comprehensive enterprise management information system based on  Infor ERP LN (Baan 6.1) for the Russian representative office of OTIS. The project involves automation of key business processes at OTIS production sites in Saint-Petersburg and Moscow in compliance to the corporate IT standard. The foundation for the prototype of the implemented system was the project model of the OTIS plant in France. At the moment GMCS is carrying out works of the first stage, as a result of which production, procurement and sales, as well as inventory control on the Saint Petersburg OTIS plant, shall be automated. The project started in March 2009.
