Client description: Volos PET Industry is engaged in the manufacturing of polyethyleneterephthalate (mylar), preforms for plastic bottles and is part of the Frigoglass Group, which owns 23 plants in 12 countries of the world.

Project Description
During the project for the implementation of the Baan ERP system special attention was paid to implementation of the “Process” subsystem; procedures of registering quality tests of manufactured produce for each batch within the “Quality Control” subsystem; development of procedures for the organization of regular servicing of production equipment within the “Service” subsystem. It is also necessary to note the development of a managerial reporting package in compliance to the demands of the company’s top management as an important result of this project. As a result the following systems were launched into industrial operation: “Financials”, “Sales, Procurement, Stock”, “Process” (process manufacturing), “Quality Control” and “Service”. Project implemented in mid 2003.
