KG (1923, Germany) is a world-leading producer of electric connectors, electronic interface units for the management of industrial processes etc. currently there are 30 trade missions and 40 subsidiaries of Phoenix Contact across the world. In 2002 Phoenix Contact opened its subsidiary in Russia.

Project Description
GMCS conducted the project for the implementation of the financial block of the SSA ERP (Baan) system at the subsidiary of Phoenix Contact in Russia, which distributes connection and automated equipment, as well as electronic interface units and surge protection systems for electrical and electronic equipment. The project’s main goal was to implement the Finance subsystem in order to accomplish the tasks of management accounting, book-keeping and tax reporting and unify all of the company’s subdivision into a unified information environment. At the moment Phoenix Contact uses the SSA ERP system, which is a corporate standard for Phoenix Contact, to manage procurement, sales and stock. Project completed in April 2007.
