Amcor Flexibles is a plant, which produces flexible packaging for food products, in the Novgorod Region, it is part of the Ŕmcor group of companies – one of the world’s leading packaging manufacturers. The company’s headquarters is located in Melbourne (Australia). Ŕmcor has manufactures in 39 countries. The SSA ERP (Baan) system is used as a corporate standard.
Project Description
GMCS implemented the SSA ERP (Baan) system at the Amcor Flexibles enterprise in Novgorod. A unique feature of this project was the fact that works were conducted simultaneously to the process of preparation foe the actual launch of production.
The project involved the implementation of the enterprise model and customizing it to the specifics of Russian legislation. The main subsystems that were launched into operation were: “Manufacturing”, “Sales, Procurement, Storage” and “Financials”. The project was implemented by the GMCS team in five months. Company specialists worked in close cooperation with the client’s headquarters. Project completed in November 2005.
