Client description: The UNIMILK Group was established in 2002 as a milk production subdivision of Planet Management holding company, which currently consolidates 25 milk enterprises in Russia and 2 in Ukraine. The UNIMILK brand portfolio contains such brand names as Prostokvashino, TEMA, Actual, PETMOL, Bio Balance, Selo Lugovoe, Frendi, Doctor Brand etc.

Project Description
In order to consolidate and analyze financial information and sales data at UNIMILK the decision was made to create and implement a system for collection and storage of financial data. The project included creation on the basis of Oracle products (RDBMS Oracle 9i/10g, Oracle Internet Developer Suite, Oracle Financial Analyzer and Oracle Sales Analyzer) of a data warehouse for the formation and consolidation of financial and management data. In the process of project implementation GMCS conducted the collection and consolidation of P&L, the formation of sales budgets and BP reports, factor analysis by products and groups of products, analysis of the holding company’s actual sales and the construction of necessary reports based on this data. Further development of the project involves creating a system of budget formation support, budget data consolidation and control over budget fulfillment. The project was completed in the first semester of 2005.
