Project Description
GMCS and TNK-BP cooperation started in 2002, when the integrator’s specialists were invited to participate in the implementation of SAP R\3. Today GMCS consultants are faced with the task of support and development of the enterprise management system of TNK-BP. As part of this task GMCS conducts the maintenance and modernization of functional modules of SAP ERP. A team of GMCS consultants designs solution blueprints, updates and tests existing functions, develops user guidelines and new reporting layouts. GMCS also participates in a number of projects for the optimization of TNK-BP business processes. As part of the project for the re-engineering of the TNK-BP supply chain GMCS is optimizing the conduct of bid campaigns and procurement, improving productive assets inventory management, ensuring efficient interaction with suppliers, introducing modern risk management tools etc. - all on the basis of SAP solutions. In order to organize efficient TNK-BP finance management the GMCS project group has been conducting the standardization of data within various systems in compliance with the standards of the SAP enterprise system, as well as the automation of management accounting, procurement management and shipments throughout the whole company. With regard to the improvement of shipping and sales of the holding company’s oil derivatives GMCS consultants are aiming to efficiently organize production and sales records of the company’s oil derivatives, conduct and display procurement and product transfer operations within the unified enterprise system. Using new IT-tools implemented on the basis of SAP solutions TNK-BP shall be able to effectively form management reporting necessary to make strategic decisions on the management of the company’s business. As a result of the excellent quality of works accomplished, as well as of the high opinion of the qualifications of GMCS specialists, cooperation between the two companies is continuing up to the present moment.
