T-Pay is the official distributor of the single top-up card (STC) for the services of the all-Russian cell phone operator “MegaFon”. The company carries out the promotion of cell service top-up cards across Russia. Its organizational structure is built up according to the territorial division of Russia into Federal Districts and amounts to 7 branches distributing STCs through a dealer network, which includes over 250 dealers. The T-Pay head office is located in Saint-Petersburg.

Project Description
GMCS successfully implemented an ERP system based on Microsoft Dynamics AX for T-Pay. The projects main goals were to introduce the financial feature and the supply chain management component, as well as launch the Forecasting and Operational Planning block. The order of works was determined according to the priority of the tasks being accomplished. So, during the first stage bookkeeping, tax and management accounting were automated. Then logistics management was optimized, and further on the long and short term planning of procurement and shipping feature was introducing. During the project Microsoft Dynamics AX was integrated with other solutions implemented by GMCS at T-Pay - the PlanDesigner and «BOSS-Kadrovik» systems. Integration of the applications provided storage and use of data on key processes within a single information space for all regional offices. Additionally Microsoft Dynamics AX was integrated with the Electronic Payment System (EPS), aimed at managing the product’s life cycle, thus allowing to obtain information on logistical movement of the cards, starting from their acquisition and up to their pre-activation and shipping to dealers. Implementation of the project took 9 months. Works on the project were completed in January of 2007.
