Client description: Russian Aircraft Corporation «MiG» — is a domestic manufacturer of aircrafts that provides for all the stages of the life cycle of produced aircrafts: starting from the development of the concept and up to the training of flight and maintenance personnel.

Project Description
Construction of an information system based on the Infor (Baan) solution within MiG Corporation is part of a comprehensive program for the optimization of management of the aircraft manufacturer. The aim of the project is to create a unified system of efficient management of the corporation, which has a distributed structure with several production sites. The project is specific in its nature because of the limited timeframe of its implementation. As a result of the project a number of modules of the Finance subsystem were launched into pilot operation, thus allowing the corporation to receive a consolidated balance sheet on 6 remote sites. Implementation of “Finance” subsystem modules was completed in 2006. As part of the program for IT development of MiG Corporation GMCS consultants implemented a new project based on the Infor ERP (Baan) system. Project works included implementation the Russian Fixed Assets module (RFA), thus allowing to significantly simplify financial reporting while taking Russian legislation into account to the best possible degree. The Russian Fixed Assets module (RFA) was implemented in 2007.
