WGC-4 is one of the largest wholesale generation companies created in Russia. The company includes 5 thermal power plants: Surgut SDPP-2, Berezovskaya SDPP, Shatura SDPP, Smolensk SDPP, Yayvinskaya SDPP. The total installed capacity of WGC-4 amounts to over 8.6 thousand MWt.
Project Description
The project was aimed at creating a unified information system of WGC-4, which would allow to consolidate unconnected generation plants into a single company within an information space. The system was also needed to ensure legitimate and effective reporting for both internal purposes and shareholders, of which the E.On corporation became one in 2007. Implementation of the project allowed to unify activities of the company’s employees in different parts of Russia and create convenient mechanisms of control over the operations of each subdivision. As a result of the accomplished work based on the Microsoft Dynamics AÕ system the following processes were fully automated: bookkeeping, tax and management accounting, procurement, heat and electric power sales, repairs and equipment servicing management. The created system operates in close integration with the companies budgeting system.
