Client description: Nizhniy Novgorod Motors is a joint Russian-Italian venture, established by two such automobile constructing giants as GAZ and FIAT.

Project Description
The project carried out at Nizhniy Novgorod Motors was the first international project for the implementation of the Baan ERP system in Russia. Works were conducted collaboratively by GMCS and Ernst & Young CIS — in Turin (Italy) and Nizhniy Novgorod. Among the main works carried out during the project are: development of the chart of accounts in accordance to the requirements set out by the founding company and international standards, financial accounting set up, establishment of the design and configuration of the Finance subsystem, conducting training seminars, conducting pilot operation, consulting during the period of trial operation of the system. The project was implemented in 1998.
