Client description: Neva Cable is the largest producer of exchange and auxiliary switch cables in Russia. The annual sales turnover of the production enterprise totals over 20 mln Euros. In 2005 Neva Cable was acquired by the large Dutch industrial alliance Draka. Today manufacture is based on imported equipment and modern technologies used on Draka plants.

Project Description
As part of the project GMCS fully adapted the Neva Cable management system to the needs of an industrial enterprise and the corporate standards of the parent company – the Dutch holding company Draka. Project works included optimization of financial processes, production and logistics. GMCS consultants included the possibility to receive consolidate reporting by both Russian and international standards (IAS) in the system; complex tasks were solved on the issues of developing the chart of accounts and accounting methodology, calculating payables and receivables, cost accounting, cash assets accounting, fixed assets accounting. At the moment the management information system of Neva Cable based on Infor ERP LN (Baan IV) is in pilot operation. Management can already obtain necessary managerial information online, the possibility to conduct operational control over the subsidiary’s activities is now available to the plant’s shareholders located abroad.
