Project Description
GMCS conducted the implementation of the Russian Fixed Assets (RFA) module of the SSA ERP (Baan) system for the Irkutsk Aviation Plant. The Russian Fixed Assets (RFA) module was developed by GMCS to comply with national legislation to the highest possible degree. Its implementation allowed to decrease work-intensity during the preparation of financial reports and quickly obtain financial information related to fixed asset accounting. Project for the migration of the automated management system to Infor ERP LN (Baan 6.1) completed in the beginning of 2007. The Russian Fixed Assets (RFA) module was implemented in 2005. GMCS also completed the migration of the enterprise management system of Irkutsk Aviation Plant from the Baan IV version (for A&D) to Infor ERP LN (Baan 6.1). This project was unique for Russia as it was the first to transition to the Infor ERP LN (Baan 6.1) version. The project was implemented on schedule in six months. During this time, GMCS specialists transferred existing settings and business procedures of logistics and finance management, including Russian bookkeeping, to the new version and launched the system into industrial operation. As a result of the migration project, Irkutsk Aviation Plant transferred to the Russian localization of Infor ERP LN (Baan 6.1), designed and maintained by GMCS. Project for the migration of the automated management system to Infor ERP LN (Baan 6.1) completed in the beginning of 2007.
