Project Description
In order to improve the holding company’s management system, which allows managers of all levels to efficiently make managerial decisions and control their execution, in 2004 MTS started the implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite. The project included creating tools for information support of the holding company’s business covering all aspects of the company’s activities, including financial flow and consumer relation management, as well as development and introduction of new services. GMCS was invited to be one of the contractors. Treasury operation management was centralized within the MTS head office, thus allowing to control and approve payment documents on many levels, forecast and manage cash flow on-line. It is a truly large-scale solution: the total number of users involved in these operations amounts to around 800 people. During the project the following subsystems were launched: personnel management, procurement and warehouse management, fixed assets, payroll calculation. At the moment works are being carried out to replicate the created solution in MTS branches and subsidiaries. Project is expected to be completed in the first semester of 2008.
