Client description: Metafrax is one of the largest chemical enterprises in Russia, which exports up to 42% of its produce. Of the 11 main types of chemical products manufactured by the company, the most important is methanol production.

Project Description
The aim of the project is to create a tool complying to international standards, which would allow to effectively obtain complete and reliable information necessary for control over financial activities of departments and the enterprise as a whole and adopting economical managerial decisions. GMCS was invited to be one of the contractors. Metafrax was the first Russian entity to conduct full-scale implementation of the company’s ERP system based on the Oracle e-Business Suite in just one year. The project involved primary and auxiliary production units, procurement, material management, sales, planning, bookkeeping and finance. GMCS consultants carried out works to automate the enterprise’s main processes: planning, calculation of planned and actual production costs at primary and auxiliary production units, cost accounting, bookkeeping. Launch of the system into industrial operation was conducted right on schedule in January 2003
