Client description: Kemerovo OJSC “AZOT” is a large chemical enterprise in Western Siberia, established in 1956 and producing over 40 different products. It is part of the SIBUR Holding Company, which is engaged in processing a large volume of Russian hydrocarbon material through a single technological chain, starting from its primary processing and up to manufacturing final products for end consumers. The company produces over 100 different petrochemical products.

Project Description
GMCS together with the IT and Communication Department of SIBUR Holding Company began the implementation of the Oracle E-Business Suite system at Kemerovo OJSC “AZOT”, as part of the comprehensive automation of SIBUR Holding Company enterprises, in the second quarter of 2005. The main goal of the project for Oracle E-Business Suite implementation — is implementing functionality, which includes procurement management, storage, sales, bookkeeping, production elements, integration with the corporate automated planning and production accounting system of SIBUR Holding Company. The IT development strategy of SIBUR Holding Company involves creation of a single information space for the whole geographically diffused structure. The initiative of its creation came from the parent organization and companies that are part of the holding company. The IT and Communication Department of SIBUR Holding Company was the direct administrator and primary contractor of the project for the creation of corporate information systems of the holding company’s subsidiary. The same department developed general corporate requirements towards information systems of subsidiaries. All works on the project are managed by one organization structure, project documentation is centrally approved and stored in the records of the multi-project office. In the future it is planned to create the holding company’ Information Technology Competence Center on the basis of the IT and Communication Department of SIBUR Holding Company.
