Kazpochta is a rapidly developing system, the network of which includes over 3500 post offices located in all inhabited localities of the country.
Project Description
Implementation of unified enterprise information system based on Baan ERP within the Kazakhstan postal network was conducted by GMCS together with Colvir Software company. The project’s specific feature was the fact that it involved integration and shared setup of several systems automating different fields of the enterprise’s activities. In terms of administration and economic activities the Baan ERP system executes tasks of obtaining unified corporate reporting, planning and costs accounting, as well as logistics and transport management. Project works were carried out in March-December of 2003.
