Client description: Eksmo– is a broad-based Russian publishing house, one of the largest in Europe, producing over 8 thousand book titles a year with a total circulation of around 80 million copies. The project for the implementation of an OLTP-system based on mySAP Business Suite for the Eksmo publishing house was conducted by GMCS in cooperation with SAP Consult CIS.

Project Description
GMCS employees were responsible for creating blueprints and settings in the following areas: finance (debtors, creditors, general ledger); financial resource flows accounting; income and expense budget; payment budget; consolidation; material flows management; operating cost management; general running cost management; analysis for tax reporting; document management system; ABAP programs and extensions. Thanks to the implementation of the mySAP Business Suite at Eksmo Publishing House prerequisites have been established for the automation of reporting in compliance to IFRS standards and for the direct integration of all business processes. Project implemented in 2004.
