Client description: ZMA – is a modern automobile manufacturing enterprise, which has been present on the Russian market since 1987. In 2005 ZMA became part of Severstal-Auto and started specializing in the assembly of international car brands. ZMA currently carries out mass manufacturing of SSANG YONG four-by-fours and several FIAT models.

Project Description
GMCS consultants are implementing a project for the automation of ZMA activities, which includes the creation of a unified information system based on the “Enterprise Resource Planning” solution (SAP ERP) and specialized SAP solutions for the automotive industry aimed at introducing lean manufacturing principles. The new full-featured system for ZMA shall ensure the transparency of the company’s business-processes such as comprehensive planning, control over manufacturing and logistics networks, as well as sales and inventory management. It is expected that the implementation of an enterprise management information system will take 9 months.
